01-04-2010In year 2009. HLF provided financial support for the development of Tissue banking in the department of Pathology at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. The support will make available -80o C deep freezer, reagents and laboratory equipments. Additional, support for capacity building through the training of Dr. Abideen Oluwasola, a consultant Pathologist in the department, at the University of Chicago, USA. Other beneficiaries of HLF Capacity Building support in the execution of their exchange programs include Dr. (Mrs.) Akingbola, from Department of Hematology, UCH, Ibadan and Paul Menzel from New York.
